7. Chronic Fatigue That Rest Does Not Fix
We are all busy, and fatigue is part of modern life. However, cancer-related fatigue is different. It is a persistent, crippling exhaustion that doesn’t improve with a good night’s sleep. This fatigue often stems from the body’s internal fight against the cancer, or from anemia (low red blood cells) that can be caused by leukemia, lymphoma, or chronic internal bleeding from colon or stomach cancers. If you are constantly drained, even without increased physical activity, it’s time for a blood panel.
